Colorado Rockies rumors: Adam Ottavino’s decision could come soon | Rox PileThere’s still talk about the Rockies trying to bring back Adam Ottavino, who was easily the most successful bullpen player last year. There are many teams currently working on filling in their bullpens, though, so it will likely have to be a competitive offer if the Rockies do bring him back. If the deal exceeds $10 million http://www.padresfanproshop.com/authentic-brad-hand-jersey , then the Rockies might find themselves out of the running for the right hander. The Rockies do still have Scott Oberg, Seunghwan Oh, and Chris Rusin to rely on, but they’ll have to hope that Bryan Shaw and Jake McGee can step it up big time. It’s a tough call, but the Rockies are still in it for Ottavino. Reactions and overreactions to one day of baseball. Bryce Harper gets a Philly welcome. On the one hand, there isn’t really any evidence at the moment that moving the mound back will cause more injuries, although perhaps that conclusion will change after this experiment. On the other hand, when we see how much MLB pays minor leaguers in affiliated ball, what makes anyone think that MLB would care if Atlantic League pitchers had their arms literally fall off?MLB is bringing back the much-hated “Papa Slam” promotion for 2019 with Papa John’s pizza.
